KTM RC 390 is a sports bike model from KTM, one of the most popular brands known for Duke and RC motorbikes.

RC 390 is an upgraded model of 390 Duke.

Priced at INR 2.52 lakh (approx), KTM launched its latest superbike model for the Indian motorbike community.

Technical Specifications

The Race inspired all-new “KTM RC 390” operates on a spectacular single-cylinder 4-stroke engine which gives strength and a punchy torque of 35 NM.

It not only suits a racer but also an A2 rider who can opt it for a daily ride with good fuel economy.

You can attain a maximum power of 32 kW with the help of this compact light-weight engine style.

Other technical parts of RC 390 are taken from the typical RC 8 model.

The cylinder head of RC 390 is exactly the copy of RC 8 with the four valves actuated with the help of camshafts.

When high torque is experienced, you will be assisted the help of Slipper clutch for safety.

Although there is no throttle cable, a soft throttle reply is possible in RC 390.

The steel fuel tank of RC 390 has the capacity to reserve up to 10 liters of fuel.

The technical components further include an aluminum gear shift lever along with the latest Rekluse automatic clutch that features and depicts the TorqDrive and EXP technologies.

Further, for safety, ignition cover protection is provided by alternator and clutch cover.

When it comes to Chassis, in order to build comfortable ergonomics, sports feeling, amazing agility, and smooth handling, various changes have been done by KTM.

To maintain a racing fire effect within a racer always, aluminum triple clamps are provided that act as eye catchers.

KTM is very sensitive about your safety and hence it has implemented a high-tech braking technology known as ABS from Bosch which helps in full control at a ground clearance of 178.5 mm.

To do so, RC 390 is equipped with WP suspension four-piston calipers with 320 mm brake at front and 230 mm single-piston floating caliper disc at the rear end.

Design

When it comes to Duke or RC, the design is what attracts the most. Similarly, a unique design and graphic is followed in RC 390.

To look sporty, racing profile handlebars are equipped that enhances control.

First-class two-part ergo seat is provided for rider and pillion.

The comfort of both rider and passenger is ensured with 820 mm seat height that facilitates circuit-style riding.
