Top 10 Motorcycle Brands – II

The wait is now over!  Yes, we are back again with our second part of the top 10 motorcycle brands.

Royal Enfield

Built to take on the world, Royal Enfield, a committed motorbike company aims at serving the riding community beyond boundaries. Recognized to be one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturing brands, Royal Enfield is known for consistency and is now a limited Eichers Motors subsidiary.

It has three manufacturing plants in India and is one of the top brands in premium bikes producer with powerful technologies and resilient engines. Among the motorbike variants from Royal Enfield, Bullet 350 is the mainstay of the stable that drives pride in riders, and extensive sales that keep production going.

Motorbike Models: Interceptor, Continental GT, Himalayan, Classic, and Bullet.

Price range: INR 1. 30 Lakh (Bullet) – INR 2. 80 Lakh (Continental).

KTM India

There is no other more famous motorcycle brand than KTM India in producing successful naked street racers and sports bikes suitable for adventure, racing, and travel.

Bajaj Auto in partner with KTM develops high-performance sports bikes in the Indian market. KTM 125cc to 390cc motorbike models get manufactured in the Bajaj Chakan facility. At present, KTM has eight models where Duke has the strongest hold. Recently, KTM celebrated its second MotoGP victory. Coming to the upcoming models, Super Duke R 1290 2020, Adventure 790, 250 Adventure are in line to stage in November and December.

Motorbike Models: MX (SX, SX-F), Enduro (EXC-F, EXC TPI), E-Ride (MX, SX-E), Travel (Adventure), Sports Tourer (Super Duke), Supermoto (SMC), Naked Bike (Duke), Supersport (RC).

Suzuki Motorcycles

Suzuki Motorcycle comes next in the line with proven excellence in the production of four-wheelers and two-wheelers. It is of Japanese natives like Yamaha. Suzuki entered the Indian motorcycle market with the partnership of TVS that didn’t last after 2006 as they departed, making Suzuki Motorcycle a subsidiary company with its manufacturing plant in Haryana.

While Gixxer is the majorly preferred model, the upcoming motorbikes include Suzuki SV650, V Strom 650XT, and Suzuki Katana. Suzuki has also attained a large sales ratio after its introduction to Access 125 due to high performance.

Scooter Models: Access 125, Burgman Street.

Price range: INR 1.13 Lakh (Gixxer) – INR 1.76 Lakh (Gixxer SF).

Kawasaki

Here is another premium motorbike brand, Kawasaki, known for its Ninja editions in the Indian market. After separating from Bajaj Auto in 2016, Kawasaki started its network in India and sold Ninja 200 as primary entries.

A unique factor about Kawasaki’s motorbikes is that most of its editions have blazed green color options in common, representing the color code followed by Ninjas of the ages. Although being new to the Indian motorbike community, Kawasaki thrives to survive and keeps its place filled as one of the best premium motorcycle companies in India.

Motorbike Models: Ninja, Z, Vulcan, Versys, W, KX, and KLX.

Price range: INR 5. 94 Lakh (Ninja Z 650) – INR 10. 89 Lakh (Ninja 1000SX- upcoming).

Harley Davidson

Finally, we have Harley Davidson, a world-renowned brand that entered the Indian market in 2009. Although it had some issues in joining the Indian motorbike community, it established its empire. It successfully emerged as one of the top producers of high-class premium motorcycles to its customers.

With 11 motorbikes on the lineup, Street ROD 750, the direct entry from the house of Harley Davidson is the cheapest motorcycle in the catalog. When talking about the new introductions, Harley Davidson has Electra Glide Standard, Road King, and CVO Limited for its devoted fan club.

Motorbike Models: Street, Cruiser, Touring, and Trike.

Price Range: INR 4. 69 Lakh (Street) – INR 18. 25 Lakh (Fat Boy).
